how do the meal plans work?

Healthy Balance is ideal for:

  • people who want to lose weight or a healthy weight wanting to maintain,
  • women who are pregnant or breastfeeding,
  • for families with growing children,
  • or for those wanting optimum, natural nutrition

This meal plan is a little more liberal with carbohydrates than the Simply Keto plan.

We do generally recommend avoiding sugar, sweeteners, and too much fruit, as well as limiting your consumption of breads, cereals and starchy foods (pasta, rice, potatoes etc).

Healthy Balance is made up of less than 40% of your calories coming from carbohydrates.

These are predominately berries, nuts and seeds. 20-30% of your calories are from protein and the rest come from natural healthy fats like lard, butter, coconut oil and olive oil.
